The Football Jersey 2.0
Available in Danish and English (remember to choose)
The Football Jersey is a knitted raglan t-shirt, where sporty stripes and sharp edges create a football-inspired look. Perfect for the football-loving knitter – or for a lucky football fan in your life. The neckline is shaped by German Shortrows which gives a raised neck and deeper neckline. Difficulty level: 2-3⭐️ out of 5⭐️ (It’s helpful to practice color changes beforehand, but they are thoroughly explained in the pattern + tutorial-videos)
Description of difficulty levels
1⭐️ out of 5⭐️
Patterns marked with 1⭐️ are suitable for beginners, there are help videos and no difficult techniques.
2⭐️ out of 5⭐️
Patterns marked with 2⭐️ are suitable for the slightly experienced knitter who still doesn't want difficult techniques but a project with a bit more detail.
3⭐️ out of 5⭐️
Here you'll find slightly more advanced techniques such as German short rows or colorwork. Still not so difficult that you can't learn it – helpful videos and detailed instructions are included, as always.
4 and 5⭐️ out of 5⭐️
I don't yet have patterns that complicated or full of difficult techniques if these levels apply. They are simply there so that the knitter can put the degrees of difficulty into perspective.

Sizes and measurements
Sizes and measurements
The pattern is based on three fixed neckline measurements:
38 (42) 46 cm
The neckline measurement refers to the finished neck opening along the folded edge and is chosen based on the desired neck fit. The body is worked made-to-measure, independent of the neckline measurement.
Ease
The pattern is based on three different neck measurements, from which the body is gradually shaped. Measure your own neck circumference and decide which fit you prefer based on the finished measurements provided.
Choose a size close to your actual neck measurement for a more fitted look or size up for a more relaxed and open collar.

The green Football Jersey is knitted in size 3. Emil’s measurements are 105 cm at the chest and 84 cm at the waist.
He is 198 cm tall.
The pattern includes detailed instructions on how to achieve the same fit as the original green Football Jersey. These can be used as a starting point when adjusting the pattern to suit your own measurements.

Washing instructions
Washing instructions
Hand wash at around 40°C with wool detergent. Lay flat to dry on blocking mats, stretching the piece into the desired shape and securing it with blocking pins. This process allows for a few extra centimeters, as the fabric is easier to shape.
